What is a Habitat for Humanity ReStore?

The Hartford ReStore is a home improvement and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. All ReStore proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope in the Hartford area and around the world. Our ReStore is located at 500 Cottage Grove Road in Bloomfield.

  • Shop: The ReStore offers great deals on building supplies, making your home improvements more affordable while providing much needed funding for Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity.
  • Donate: The ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream. Local retailers, contractors, and individuals can donate items to the ReStore. We are able to pick up donated items. Please email pictures to Barbara or call us at 860-519-0828 to discuss how to donate.¬†
  • Volunteer: The ReStore is an opportunity for Hartford Habitat to engage volunteers of all ages. We look forward to engaging students, civic, corporations, and other groups in our mission. To volunteer at the ReStore, please register on the ReStore hub.
